Jeslyn Nguyen • Co-Chair

Jeslyn Nguyen (she/her) is a junior from Rancho Cucamonga, majoring in Human Biology and Neuroscience. She served as the TSS First Year Experience Co-Director before assuming her current position as Co-Chair. Her other extracurriculars include participating on the Executive Board of Health Sciences Education Program, a USC organization committed to educating K-12 students about the importance of health science, and doing undergraduate research in the Benayoun Lab of Gerontology. Her favorite pastimes include making Spotify playlists and reading.

Audrey Nguyen • Co-Chair

Audrey Nguyen (she/her) is a junior from Rancho Cucamonga, California who is double majoring in Human Biology and Neuroscience. Before becoming Co-Chair, she previously served as a TSS Social Co-Director. Beyond TSS, Audrey is involved as a Curriculum Development Lead  for the USC Health Sciences Education Program as well as in research in cognitive neuroscience in Dr. Monterosso’s Addiction and Self Control Laboratory. Outside of academics, she is an appreciator of art, poetry, and fiction, but an even more ardent fan of music.

Ana Sanson • Co-Director of Professional and Academic Development

Ana Raquel Sanson (she/her) is a junior from Panama City, Panama. She is currently double majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computational Neuroscience. In addition to TSS, she is involved in Engineers without Borders, and research at the Dynamic Imaging Science Center at USC. During her spare time, Ana loves to play golf, read physics books, listen to musicals, bake cookies, and drink boba with her friends.

Phillip Nguyen • Co-Director of Social Events

Phillip Nguyen (he/him) is a senior from Fremont, California majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Mind and Body Studies. Outside of being the Social Co-Director for TSS, Phillip is the Academic Programming Director for the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association. He is also passionate about Cancer research, and is currently a research assistant at Dr. Stiles lab where Phillip works on analyzing the mechanisms behind transcription factors that promote liver tumorigenesis. During his free time, Phillip enjoys working out and playing spikeball.

Jessica Kim • Co-Director of Social Events

Jessica Kim (she/her) is a sophomore from Seoul, South Korea. She is currently majoring in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Besides working as a Social Co-Director for the TSS Committee, she is working as an in-reach member of KBSO (Korean Business Student Organization), a media/ communications member of KDSAP (Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program), and a marketing intern of KASA (Korean American Student Association). She enjoys baking (especially madeleines, brownies, and cinnamon rolls) and finding delicious cafes and boba places with her friends during her free time.

Melissa Chen • Co-Director of Marketing

Melissa Chen (she/her) is a junior from San Jose, CA majoring in Business Administration and Accounting. Outside of TSS, Melissa is a board member and volunteer of USC Volunteer Assistance. In her free time, she enjoys writing, watching sitcoms and spending time outdoors.

Joshua Senior • Co-Director of the First-Year Experience

Joshua Senior (he/him) is a junior from Brooklyn, New York, where he is currently double majoring in Biological Sciences and International Relations. Along with being Director of First Year Experience within Trojan Scholar Society, Josh is also a USC Dornsife Ambassador, Joint Educational Project (JEP) volunteer, researcher, and also serves as both an academic mentor and a Content Creation Committee member for Scholars Leading Scholars (SLS). When he is not studying, Josh avidly enjoys volunteering, reading books, making music, and teaching friends New York slang.

Connor Duncan • Co-Director of the First-Year Experience

Connor Duncan (he/him) is a senior from San Diego, California, double majoring in Spanish and Business Administration with an Emphasis in Business Analytics. He is excited to join E-Board as First-Year Experience Co-Director this semester. Outside of TSS, he is also a Troy Camp counselor, student mentor to first-year Marshall students with the Robert J. Coury Applied Leadership Program, Teaching and Research Assistant for Managerial Accounting, and mentor/volunteer with Scholars Leading Scholars. He enjoys reading, film photography, exploring the outdoors and volunteering in his spare time.
